ANYWAY. Today's SMYSS is by Helena Nørby, she's 16 and from Denmark.
"What inspires you?"
Everything can be a source of inspiration! But I've always been deeply inspired by nature, even though I rarely draw it. Especially the moon. I've always had a special relation to the moon. I could stare at it for hours, and I always know when it's full. Also, other art pieces of course. Music too. It's a big part of my life, almost bigger than art. Listening to music, playing the piano or singing usually inspires me. And when inspiration comes, I act quickly. It can be in the middle of the night where I'll jump out of bed, or literally leaving a party to draw something. I just won't calm down untill I've drawn what's in my head.
"What do you want to do when you grow up?"
Oh, that's a hard question. Only recently I've considered art as a possible career. I've considered becoming a musician too. But, for now, I'll stick with the idea of studying science at the University and becoming a teacher and scientist. Then I'll probably work as a freelance artist and musician.

I would love to see your sketchbook, take six or more photos and send to hiven@live.co.uk.
